Hot and Cheesy Crab Dip
Pulled crabmeat is combined with CHEF-MATE® Basic Cheddar Cheese Sauce, mayo, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder and green onions. Topped with cheddar cheese, more sliced green onion and tomatoes for a delicious, shareable dish.
Ingredients

Cream cheese -- 1 cup

Mayonnaise -- ½ cup

Chef-mate Basic Cheddar -- 1 cup

Garlic, powder --1 tsp

Onion, powder -- ½ tsp

Paprika, smoked -- ½ tsp

Hot pepper sauce -- 1 tsp

Lemon, juiced -- ½ each

Crab, pulled meat, canned -- 2 cups

Cheese, cheddar, shredded, optional -- ¼ cup

Scallions, fresh, sliced, optional -- 2 ea

Tomato, fresh, Roma, deseeded and chopped, optional -- 1 each
Preparation

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and basic cheddar sauce. Mix until combined.

3Add in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, hot pepper sauce, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.

4Fold in the crab meat.

5Pour dip into a 12-inch cast iron skillet. Top with shredded cheddar, if desired.

6Bake for 25 minutes, until browned and bubbly.

7Garnish with sliced scallions and tomato, if desired.
Note:
Serve with tortilla chips and crudité.
