Jalapeno Pull Apart Loaf

Butter, unsalted -- 1 stick

Scallions, fresh, sliced -- 3 ea

Garlic, fresh, minced -- 2 cloves

Bread, loaf, sourdough -- 1 loaf

Chef-Mate Que Bueno Jalapeno Cheese Sauce --1 cup
Preparation

1Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a half sheet tray with aluminum foil.

2In a small saucepot, melt butter. Add in scallions and minced garlic, cook 2 minutes. Set aside.

3Cut the bread on a diagonal into 1 inch diamonds. Do not cut all the way through the loaf.

4Using a mini offset spatula, spread the jalapeno cheese sauce in the inside of the diamonds, making sure to get into all the crevices.

5Using a pastry brush, brush the melted butter over the surface of the bread, getting some cheese in the crevices as well.

6Wrap loaf in foil and bake at 350° for 20 minutes then unwrap and bake for 5-10 minutes, until golden.

7Transfer to a platter.
