Nestlé Professional Hosts Ohio ProStart Students
Culinary Innovation Campus welcomes teams for career panel and culinary contest.
Nestlé Professional hosted 17 Ohio ProStart teams at its Culinary Innovation Campus in Solon, Ohio, on February 22, 2023.
Each team spent the morning delighting Nestlé Professional judges with their unique culinary creations featuring Stouffer’s White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese as the main ingredient. Nestlé Professional chefs judged each entry based on taste, presentation, and creativity.
The winning recipe? White Cheddar Mac Tacos!
Following the competition, ProStart students joined Nestlé Professional employees for a panel discussion on careers in foodservice.
ProStart, a two-year culinary and restaurant management program for high school students overseen by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, helps build the future strength of the foodservice industry. Each year, more than 165,000 students participate, learning practical skills and building a solid foundation for jobs and careers.
