Ingredients

Canola oil -- 2 tbsp.

Onion, Red, julienne -- 1 qt.

Thyme, fresh, sprig -- 4 each

Apple, Granny smith, peeled, cored, sliced-- 1.5 cup

Breadcrumb, fresh -- 1 cup

Bleu cheese, crumbled -- 2.5 oz.

Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese made with Whole Grains 4 x 64 ounces -- 64 oz.
Preparation

1In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and thyme and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.

2Add apples. With heat at medium-low, cook and stir apples until tender, about 10 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high, and cook until mixture is caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

3In a bowl, stir together the panko crumbs and Bleu cheese until blended.

4In a bowl, mix together the Macaroni & Cheese with cooked apples and onions. Pour pasta mixture into a deep half-hotel pan and top evenly with Bleu cheese panko.

5Bake in a preheated 350°F convection oven for 25 minutes or until panko is golden brown and cheese sauce is bubbling. Garnish with chopped parsley at service.
