Chicken and White Cheddar Mac Waffles
Upgrade the Southern specialty with mac and cheese in the wafἀe batter plus blackberry jam and Sriracha honey butter.

Stouffer's White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese -- 64 oz

White American cheese, shredded -- 2 1/4 cups

Eggs -- 4 each

Panko breadcrumbs -- 1 qt.

Pan spray -- as needed

Blackberry Jam, prepared -- 1 1/4 cups

Fried chicken, boneless thighs -- 10 each

Sriracha Honey Butter -- see recipe

Chives, chopped -- 1/4 cup

Sriracha Honey Butter Ingredients

Butter, unsalted -- 1/2 cup

Hot sauce, Sriracha -- 1 Tbsp.

Honey-- 1 1/2 Tbsp
Preparation

1In a medium work bowl, mix together cold mac and cheese, white American cheese, eggs, and panko.

2Spray Belgian waffle iron well with pan spray.

3For each waffle, place 2 cups of mac and cheese mixture on waffle iron on the lowest heat setting.

4Close lid and cook for 4–6 minutes on low heat until outside is golden brown.

5Remove from waffle iron and cut into quarters.

6Spread one waffle quarter with 2 tablespoons jam.

7Place one piece of fried chicken on top of jam.

8Spread chicken with 2 teaspoons Sriracha Honey Butter.

9Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon chives.

10Top with additional waffle quarter.

11In a 4-quart mixer, using a wire whip attachment, whip together butter, Sriracha, and honey.

12Hold refrigerated.
