Chicken & Rice Soup (Lower Sodium)
Ingredients

Butter, unsalted -- 0.25 cup

Onions, small dice -- 2 cup

Carrots, small dice -- 2 cup

Celery, small dice -- 1 cup

Water -- 160 fl.oz.

Minor's Chicken Base Low Sodium (No Added MSG)* Gluten Free 6 x 1 pound-- 5 oz.

Cooked chicken, light and dark, small diced -- 20 oz.

Long grain white rice -- 1.5 cup
Preparation

1In a large pot over medium high heat, melt butter. Add onions, carrots and celery; sauté 5 minutes.

2Add water, Chicken Base, chicken meat and rice. Stir to combine. Bring to a rapid boil. Reduce heat and continue to simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender.
