Smoky Tomato Sauce
Ingredients

Pork bacon, raw, diced -- 1/2 cup

Onions, raw, diced -- 1 cup

Carrots, raw, diced -- 1/2 cup

Garlic, minced -- 1 Tbsp

White wine -- 1 cup

Tomato purée -- 1 1/4 qt

Maggi® Seasoning -- 2 Tbsp
Preparation

1In a medium pan, render bacon over medium heat until crispy.

2Add onions, carrots, and garlic, and sweat over medium heat.

3Deglaze pan with white wine and reduce by 7/8.

4Add tomato purée and Seasoning; simmer until thickened as desired.
